MariEnergies has made a Gas Condensate discovery at their exploratory well Shams-1 located in Mari Leas area District Ghotki, Sindh Province. The well was spudded on January 30, 2026 and drilled to a depth of 3075 meters. Testing was carried out in B Sands of Lower Goru Formation which flowed at the rate of 15.86 MMCFD Gas and 78 BPD Condensate through 32/64” choke size at well head flowing pressure of 3061 PSI.
