UEP has made a Gas discovery in Sawan South Exploration Licence at Shahu-1 well in Sindh Province. The well was spudded on August 18, 2024 and drilled to the depth of 3862 meters. Testing was carried out in B Sand of Lower Goru Formation which flowed at the rate of 10 MMCFD Gas with wellhead flowing pressure of 4100 PSI.
