MPCL has made an Oil & Gas discovery in Mari Lease at Shawal-1 well in Sindh Province. The well was spudded on January 27, 2024 and drilled to the depth of 1136 meters. Testing was carried out in Ghazij Formations which flowed at the rate of 1040 BOPD oil and 2.5 MMCFD Gas with wellhead flowing pressure of 953 PSI at 32/64” choke size.
