OGDCL has made a Gas discovery in Bitrism Exploration Licence at Faakir-1 well in Sindh Province. The well was spudded on December 31, 2024 and drilled to a depth of 4185 meters. Two DSTs were carried out in Massive Sand and Basal Sand of Lower Goru Formation.  Massive Sand was tested @ 3.2 MMCFD Gas at 32/64” choke against WHFP 450 PSI. Moreover, Basal Sand was tested @3.2 MMCFD Gas & 55 BCPD Condensate at 32/64” choke against WHFP 850 PSI.
